Akkreditierungen
Akkreditierungen sind eine Anerkennung der Kompetenz eines Labors, bestimmte Prüfungen durchzuführen. Diese Akkreditierungen werden durch ehrenamtlich tätige Organisationen an Laboratorien innerhalb ihres Einzugsgebiets verliehen, und zwar jeweils für einen einzelnen Standort. Jede Organisation beachtet die Abkommen über die gegenseitige Anerkennung mit anderen Akkreditierungsstellen und sorgt so für Transparenz im internationalen Umgang.

In einigen Fällen verweisen wir auf Seiten, auf denen der Geltungsbereich dargelegt wird. Wurden mehrere Laboratorien durch dieselbe Stelle akkreditiert, so wird die Akkreditierungsbescheinigung oder die Labornummer aufgeführt.

Certification/registration is when a third party gives written assurance that a product, service, system, process or material conforms to specific requirements.
